With a concentrated production in the northern part of Brazil, the Rain-forest (Amazon), the fruit has taken over the world because of its nutrients, unique flavor and simplified consumption.

Very responsible for this dissemination, the Acai berry in the bowl became the flagship of many establishments aimed at this public. Together with cereals and fruits it can be confronted with one of the 3 main meals or a supplement to give more energy during the day.



1 frozen banana in pieces
100 ml coconut water
50g frozen blueberries
1 bag Acai pulp 100g
Hand ice cubes
2 tbsp muesli
2 tbsp grated coconut
6 strawberries
Hand blueberries

1. Put the frozen banana together with the frozen blueberries, a handful of ice cubes, the coconut water and the pureed Acai pulp in your blender.

2. Blend this into a smooth mass. Make sure you add ice cubes in the blender and frozen fruit. Tip: Use fresh fruit otherwise.

3. Basically you now have an Acai smoothie. But I’m going to make it a smoothiebowl. Pour the smoothie into 2 bowls, or make 1 large.

4. Garnish the Acai bowl with the muesli, grated coconut and some strawberries and fresh blueberries.

Serve the Acai bowl right away.
